QuikTrip, often called QT, is an American convenience store chain based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Burt Holmes and Chester Cadieux opened the first store in Tulsa in 1958. It expanded beyond Oklahoma in 1968 and began selling gasoline in 1971.
The chain is known for its short QT logo, which Wikipedia says it adopted during its early decades. In 2005 QuikTrip and Chevron were the first two retailers to earn a Top Tier fuel rating from a group of carmakers.
