Brex is an American financial technology company that offers corporate credit cards, cash management accounts and spend management software, mainly to startups and technology companies. It was founded on January 3, 2017, by Brazilian entrepreneurs Henrique Dubugras and Pedro Franceschi.
The founders went through the Winter 2017 batch of the Y Combinator accelerator, where they turned the company toward business credit cards. In April 2026 Capital One acquired Brex, and it now operates as a Capital One subsidiary. The logo shown here is the BREX wordmark in black capitals with an orange diagonal stroke through the X.
