Everpure, Inc., formerly known as Pure Storage, is an American publicly traded technology company. It began by developing all flash data storage hardware and software and has since expanded into a broader range of data management services.
The company was founded in 2009 under the code name Os76 Inc. by John Colgrove and John Hayes and first worked from the offices of the venture capital firm Sutter Hill Ventures. It came out of stealth mode as Pure Storage in August 2011, and in October 2015 it sold 25 million shares in its initial public offering. Charles Giancarlo became chief executive in 2017. In February 2026 the company rebranded as Everpure to reflect its shift from data storage toward integrated data management. Everpure trades on the New York Stock Exchange as P.
